I'm so behind on all the goodness...

We had an amazing date last Saturday that I've yet to gush about!

In the late afternoon we drove up the Island and got a few iced coffees to take out to the beach before sharing a swanky dinner at Frasier's (a restaurant I'd been dying to take Hans to after my office Christmas party TWO YEARS AGO).

Check out the "boardwalk" in Oak Harbor... so NOT New Jersey. Hee hee.

We couldn't not stop at Whidbey Beer Works for a sampling of yummy bottled goods so, we ran in there before dinner and I chose some fluffy cider and dacquiri drinks while Hans drooled over barley wines. When we arrived at the restaurant it was PACKED! Hans had made a reservation, but we noticed that there was an entire deck full of chairs and tables completely vacant (and nice and quiet!) despite the AMAZING weather we were having. A simple request and not five minutes later we were dining at the best seat in the house. From the front corner of the deck we could see a peekaboo view of the water, plenty of sun and we were ALL ALONE, free to gush over our great luck and sheer joy for the time together.

See!?!? Nobody!

During our dinner we collaborated on our bucket lists, I started mine a little while ago and Hans now has a nice start to his. Look out world, here we come! There are plans for motorcycles, world travelling, massive specialty food consumption, helping others, helping ourselves, raising puppies, rescuing Pits, driving fast cars and so on...

I love living this life with you babe, yours is the face the world turns to me. Again and again and again...
