You see this butterfly? Handsome devil showed up in the skylight that overhangs our front porch on Sunday. It seems that nature is conspiring to put me in a good mood these days because how can you not find joy in this miraculous little flyer? First Gus-Gus and then a gorgeous flutterby... I loved it. Keep 'em coming nature, it's working!


My beautiful sister (who will be fifteen this Summer) was over for part of the weekend and I've only just gotten around to uploading our pictures taken on a bike ride around the neighborhood after putter her hair up all fancy-like. This young lady is quickly becoming a woman whom I love and admire, laugh with (and at!) and can't imagine living without. I'm so proud of you sister dear, your perseverance with many things in your life that are challenging and your intense faith in authenticity are your best qualities, but I'm sure those are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to your rapidly maturing person. I love you and so enjoy that you're only two blocks away for the Summer. We're going to find a way to teach you to drive a stick while you're here and you're going to have better eyebrows before you leave, you're welcome! Now check out my favorites of Miss J who is a total poser and loves the camera with all her heart... she wants to be an actor- perhaps one day she'll be famous for that.
