This may only be funny to me, but when I was getting ready for work this morning Miles caught my eye and all I could think of as he was perched in that muchtootinybed was row, row, row your boat gently down the stream... he's so cute, no?

I had a pretty fabulous day, the tattoo gave me magical powers and somehow I arrived to work early and was able to maintain steady fake energy until about 3:30pm (this is good for me!). Hans and I took the boys on an amazing walk this evening down along the beach and in the sun. We just about left Rocko behind though after he decided to take his own hike across the marsh that connects our beach with the next town over... idiot. I came home filthy after having to retrieve him at the end of the dike as another group of people and their dogs were approaching. Anywho, it was gorgeous and we decided that rum was all we really needed for dinner once we arrived back home at 7:45pm.
Seriously, I could use a drunk dial buddy right now...
I did go ahead and make meatballs for tomorrow night's pasta though before things went too far south and Lucca hung around just in case I should need any assistance with taste testing (or in case I dropped anything, which was likely).

For those of you who care, here's an upright shot from this evening of my back which really only makes me want to hurry up and finish the piece because there's so much more work to be done! Use your imagination, it's going to be FANTASTIC!
