Unfortunately, unless we experience a sudden multi-county power outage like Thursday night or one of the dogs decides to hack up a kidney, we're a little boring around here the last two days. Hans did what I've been meaning to when he documented the magnificence that is our pear(?) tree so, I'll share that and then I can tell you about sister Mary's hair makeover...
See! It's a lovely tree. That beauty is right outside one of the living room windows and many days during my lunch break I wish I could just park it on the couch right under that window reading and drinking tea rather than returning to work. As for sister Mary, here's a before...
...for her birthday I gave her a gift certificate to have her hair cut by the same stylist that I see. Mary asked for "layers, thinning (she has POUNDS AND POUNDS of hair) and bangs sorta like Cam's." I think it's turned out darling! Suddenly, she looks quite a few years older...
