Hard to believe that silly girl is the same serious queen we received just over a month ago. Nellie is deaf and it's hard for her to relax and trust her surroundings. She's very concerned about keeping track of her people and protests being left behind in both big and small ways. When you win her trust, she is a sweetest, silliest girl, but until then you see the wheels turning and suspicion for miles. Pardon the messy house, we had just had the carpets cleaned and were in "temp" housing mode for the fur kids. Romp on Nel, romp on.
