If I think about it for even a second...

...I shake my head in disbelief again.

(Totally worth mentioning... Hans was really sick today! My poor husband came down with a terrible cold which reared it's ugliest head yesterday, but he made it through and was pretending like a champ to be in good shape. I'm so appreciative honey, look how smok'n you are! Hurray for drugs which dry you out and keep you awake .)

Someone did something really wonderful for us whilst they were on vacation! Hans and I rose at O'Dark-thirty this morning to take a ferry to Port Townsend, WA where Ashley and her husband Chris were capping off their Thanksgiving holiday with family. I'm sure both of them were tired a ready to rest after all the excitement of the past week, but nevertheless Ashley kindly agreed to take some pictures of us in addition to just generally MEETING FOR THE FIRST TIME over good old bacon and eggs. I've been so sick over living without the camera I barely got to know and then had to send back for repairs, but it seems we have a few images to tide us over for awhile... go check them out!

I'm told there are many more coming so, can you even believe it? They're pretty stinking awesome and I'm so happy with just the batch she managed to post today. I really don't know how she managed to do that by the way. Also, our dogs weren't even on their best behavior. We did not make this easy for Ashley! Ideally, they would have been run for about an hour before attempting this, but as I mentioned... we left at the butt-crack of dawn which left little time for romps. Lucca was as usual with his constant whining because we were "standing still and not doing anything interesting," what can we expect from a cat anyway? Needless to say, we asked Ashely to do this as a gift of sorts for some of our family members too so, those of you reading that are related to us, don't you dare try to go print/copy anything just yet (and by "just yet" I mean WAIT UNTIL AFTER CHRISTMAS, obviously).

Burrito is to die for and we would have gladly taken him with us if I didn't have my heart set on adding a female something or other to our mix. Well, and then there's the fact that Chris and Ashley like him a little too...

We had such a great time you guys, there aren't enough thank you's to express. It was a breeze hanging with you and I'll be eagerly awaiting your move farther north so we can do it again soon!

After seeing these pictures on Ashley's blog, I had to come tell you how great they are! As a fellow Boston Terrier owner, I am shocked, SHOCKED, that you got some many great pictures with the dogs. You have an adorable family :)
