Interview with husband...

I've been loving the answers produced by these questions as I've read some of the mommy-bloggers interviewing their munchkins, but when Autumn and Charlie took a stab at it I thought we might as well do the same. Who says parents should get to to have all the fun?!? The following are Hans' answers as the questions pertain to me, some of which could have used a little elaboration, but that would mean I was speaking for my husband again which I have been trying so hard NOT TO DO. It would be fun to do this again in a year or two to compare the answers, something tells me they will evolve.

1) What is something I always say to you?
"Turn off the light!"

2) What makes me happy?

*Speaking of which, he totally brought me REALLY, TRULY, ACTUAL surprise flowers last night. Wat to go babe! Love 'em... love you. *

3) What makes me sad?
"A whole lot of not-surprises."

4) How do I make you laugh?
"When you make up words/change language."

5) What do you think I was like as a child?
"You were the line-leader. Probably exceptionally clean. You always colored inside the lines."

6) How old am I?
"Right now you are 26. You're almost 27!"

7) How tall am I?
"Ummm... 5'4'' or almost 5'4''. I don't know which is the truth, are you going to tell me which is the truth?"

8) What is my favorite thing to do?
"Your favorite thing to do? Probably staying in bed in the morning!"

9) What do I do when you're not around?
"You probably clean even more! You also turn on the laptop AND the TV[at the same time]."

10) If I become famous, what will it be for?
"Being like, a pundit. You'd be famous for having an opinion show, being a 'taste maker.'"

11) What am I really good at?
"You are excellent at making amazing meals, and for taking care of people and puppies around you. You're an excellent takercareofer."

12) What am I not really good at?
"Being dormant and spelling."

13) What is my job?
"You are a Paraoptometric/janitor(ha ha)."

14) What is my favorite food?
"Chinese food + pizza + a cosmopolitan + the entire genre of dessert."

15) What makes you proud of me?
"You have this uncanny knack to always get something done. Like, just, no matter what, you finish something. That makes me really proud of you. And... you adopt animals until you're ready to explode."

*I thought he would say something about my ability to drink an Irish car bomb with him last night in honor of St. Patrick's Day... I do think he is generally proud of me when I do that too.

16) If I were a cartoon character, who would I be?
"The really foxy kitten from pepe le pew, always being chased by men."

17) What do you and I do together?
"We go on amazing hikes with our puppies and we have four dates in one day. We do the recycling!"

18) How are we the same?
"I think we can both be really cynical. We can make fun of people without them necessarily knowing it."

19) How are you and I different?
"We have really different views of what makes the home comfortable. You like it really tidy, you feel comfortable when things are super picked up and there aren't any dog boogers on the walls. I'm just not that stringent."

20) How do you know that I love you?
"Cuz you tell me in little tiny ways all the time... with notes, making sure that we talk every day at work, butterfly kisses..."

21) Where is my favorite place to go?
"Anthropologie? Oh, coffee! Yep, yep!"

There you have it! Some more details on Alpha from her knight in shining redhead. Happy sleeping everyone one, night-night!
